Quality Inspector & Laboratory Coordinator - Technical Yarns (m/f/d)

We are looking for a quality-conscious and reliable professional to inspect, evaluate and release our technically demanding filament yarns.

What You Bring

  • Qualification as a Textile Laboratory Technician, Textile Technician or a comparable technical qualification
  • Experience in quality inspection, laboratory work or quality assurance, ideally within the textile or technical manufacturing industry
  • Experience in evaluating colours and surface characteristics
  • Confident handling of testing, measurement and analytical methods
  • Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
  • High level of reliability, teamwork and assertiveness
  • Very good command of German and good command of English (minimum B2 level)
  • Structured, independent and organised way of working
  • Initial leadership experience is an advantage

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform release inspections for POY, FDY and textured yarns from development projects and serial production
  • Prepare first article inspection reports and quality documentation
  • Carry out incoming goods inspections, including sampling, testing and verification against specifications and supplier documentation
  • Evaluate yarns based on mechanical properties such as elongation, tensile strength, linear density and shrinkage behaviour
  • Perform visual inspections of colour, yarn appearance and structural characteristics
  • Conduct measurement system capability analyses and product audits
  • Prepare, maintain and provide inspection reports and test records
  • Dispatch sample bobbins to customers
  • Support the Quality Assurance team in handling customer complaints
